Karma is a Senior Volunteer with Sea Shepherd UK and personifies the passion that all volunteers have for oceanic wildlife. Karma has been on several campaigns including being a team leader on the Scottish Seal Campaign. Karma has legendary culinary skills, regularly cooking for large groups of people without even batting an eyelid. Karma was head chef on last years marathon Source To Sea Challenge, cooking the crews’ evening meals for 9 days in a row. Without those meals, the challenge would have been a whole lot harder!
Karma has taken part in campaigns in the Faroe Islands (Grindstop 2014), Taiji, Japan (operation Infinite Patience 2015) and both the 2014 and 2105 Scottish Seal Campaigns. Karma also regularly takes parts in Sea Shepherd UK’s Beach Cleans as part of the Marine Debris Campaign. Her passion for all animals is infectious as is her wonderful Catalan accent.
On the Paddling For Freedom Challenge, Karma will be cooking the meals for the team and helping with the support along the way, ably assisted by Jackie Legg.
