Our Supporters

We’d like to thank the following companies for providing us with support for the Paddling For Freedom Challenge 2017. All equipment provided will be supplied to Sea Shepherd UK after the challenge and any funds raised will be used to fight the Seal Defence Legal Fund.  Kayaks play an important part in SSUK’s campaigns and the equipment will be put to good use protecting the UK’s marine wildlife.

If you would like to help us with either funding or equipment, please contact click to contact Mark

GEARLAB paddles were designed, produced and tested by a team of industrial engineers who are passionate about outdoor adventures, especially paddling. We understand what paddlers need and want, and built top-quality paddles that enhance speed, agility, adventure and fun on the water.

Gearlab have very generously donated two of their amazing Akiak paddles for Dave and Mark to use. They are a modern carbon fibre twist on the traditional Greenland Stick, a style of paddle that has been used for hundreds of years by Greenlandic kayakers. Their unusual shape allows paddlers to maintain a higher speed for longer without putting huge strain on back and arm muscles.
